For many of you in Mensa Penang who know Nick Miller (and know of him as the one who most resembled Einstein), please note that we received this email from Mike, Nick’s brother recently.

This is Nick Miller at our 2009 Mensa Penang AGM

Mike wrote to inform that Nick has passed away.

I am writing for my brother Nick, he passed away on Feb 6th in Casablanca, Morocco. My other brother Pat and I are working on his final wishes and are having him laid to rest in Casablanca. We just are going Thurs and letting all the people that had emailed him recently know of his passing. Thanks for being a part of his life I am sure he is glad to been a part of your as well. Thanks. Nick Miller has been part and parcel of our Mensa Penang activities and events for the past few years. As he was based in Penang for a while, he helped add colour (as Cheok says) to our events. Elaine says, “Our condolences to his family. We will certainly miss him!”

BL Yeoh notes,”So sad to hear that. He definitely had been a familiar face and add to the fun around in Penang Mensa activities. I’m sure we will all miss him. May his soul rest in peace.”

For those of us who knew him well, we will truly miss him. He was funny and eccentric and he always enlivened our parties with anecdotes, funny one-liners and even once cooked for us all, especially the Committee Members of Mensa Penang.
